Thanks for this incredible page! My daughter-in-law is Puerto Rican and will love this, as do I!
i’m so glad I found you. i’ll be trying the roasted pernil , arroz con gandules, tostones and chocolate and coffee flancocho for dinner with my sisters and my PR neighbor and her mom. Will let you know how it turns out.
Que Rico!!! Can’t wait to try the guava and cream cheese dip. My Cuban roots love and crave them.
All of these recipes look amazing!
There are quite a few mistakes, but overall great pictures.:)
I’m Italian and I absolutely love Spanish Rice and Beans. When I was a young girl, our neighbor who I babysat for and was PR always made Rice and Beans and would always send me in a bowl because she knew I loved it so much. She told my mother it is made the same way we did Pasta Fagiule, but of course when Mom made it, it came more like soup LOL. Anyway, a co-worker gave me her recipe quite similar to the one above. I made it and it came out delish. All the recipes above look mouth watering and I will make sure I come back to this site for the recipes.
