OB & I kick off the summer with a Driller’s game and some fireworks. I even got a frozen lemonade. Good times!
This salad has three of my favorite things watermelon, pickled onions and balsamic reduction. Serve me a big bowl of that!
With Netflix release of the 4th season of Arrested Development I have spent approximately 10.5 hours watching episodes. It had been so long since OB & I have seen Arrested Development we decided to start at the beginning. If you have never heard of Arrested Development or watched it I highly recommend you take the show for a spin. It’s the story of a wealthy dysfunctional family that lost everything, and the one son Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) who had no choice but to keep them all together. Arrested Development, originally aired in 2003 and was only on for three seasons. The Emmy Award and Golden Globe-winning series starring one of the funniest ensembles in TV comedy, the cast includes Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Michael Cera, Will Arnett, David Cross and others. Things that you will learn from Arrested Development, the meaning of “never nude,” a dangerous amount of misinformation about maritime law, there is “No Touching!” and “That’s why you always leave a note.”
Got a bunch of floppy disks and a VHS player sitting around? Time to get crafty.
I did this dumbbell workout this week and walk like a baby giraffe.
My kid sister who lives in Puerto Rico had some simultaneous plumbing and electric issues. Being ever so self efficient she tried to take care of these problems herself and sent me a picture to prove it.
This week’s sweet treat! Perfect for summer and the chocolate lover!
