A Great Friend

Four years ago you strolled into our yard and into our hearts.

Today I must say goodbye.

This morning we had our last snuggle, we went for your last walk and you fetched your last ball.

I kissed your forehead, said goodbye and watch you drift to sleep.

I wish we could have done more for you after all you did for us.

Jake 27

You were a great friend.

Love you always.

I’m so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful dog! Your post made me tear up because we just had to put our sweet 9 year old chocolate lab to sleep 2 weeks ago. The emptiness in the house is almost unbearable.

Aiii … I see these titles and my heart breaks for the families so lucky to live with much-loved dogs, whose routines will be changed without them. Giving mine an extra pet, right now, in memory of yours …

Okay, I can’t not comment on this. I am a huge dog lover and I’ve always had Labs. They are the best thing God ever created and I know your pain. I’ve been there several times before and I know how much it hurts. But they are so worth the pain. I’m so sorry you have to go through this. But I know your life was enriched by his love.

My husband and I are huge dog lovers as well, I’m so sorry for your loss. They are the best, and they love unconditionally and he was so lucky to have you!

“sniff” – I know all too well how you feel, and I share your pain and sorrow. There are no words that I can write that will take away the pain. It does get easier with time, but we never forget our special furry friends…hugs!

I am so sorry for your loss. I am facing the same with my Katie. Just remember how lucky you both were that he picked you to love and love him in his final years. Sending hugs.

I know how you feel and I am deeply sorry. I lost mine last February and miss her terribly. May God give you comfort in cherished memories.

It’s always sad when you have to do this. Just remember, you will meet again at the “Rainbow Bridge.”

My deepest sympathy for you and your husband, I know how empty you must feel, it’s hard saying goodbye to someone that you probably will see again even harder to say it to someone that you wont. My heart goes out to you both!!

Stay strong and God Bless!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Rottweiler and Border Collie back to back. It is so hard to lose our pets because they are unconditional love.
