Fall is the bestest, yes it is! I love Fall….LOVE FALL! It’s my favorite season all year and I wish I could live somewhere that was Fall all year round. Fall means scarves, hoodies and pumpkin spiced latte. Did I mention I love Fall?
I also love fall because it time for some of my favorite ingredients like pumpkin, apples, nuts, and everything that is awesome!
Fall is also the perfect time to make stuff like a Praline Upside Down Pumpkin Cake with a crunchy gooey topping and warm pumpkin spices.
It the perfect time of year to make a great wall of Deep Dish Caramel Apple Pie with a cheddar cheese crust.
Fall is when you make nutty brown butter and add it to a pumpkin bread batter to make Brown Butter Pumpkin Bread.
Wait did I mention Fall is for making little pillows of sweet potato dumplings and smothering them in savory gouda cheese sause? That’s right it time for Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Gouda Cheese Sauce
Dinner can be a galette with a cornmeal crust filled with apples, butternut squash and onions tossed in sage butter. Fall Galette‘s are awesome in the Fall.
Fall brings cooler temperatures so I recommend curling up with a hearty bowl of Sancocho (Puerto Rican Beef Stew), it helps warm the soul and fill the belly.
Fall mornings are the best part of Fall with it’s crisp and fresh air. Although it can be a struggle to get out from under the cozy covers these French Toast Cups filled with sausage and apples will help do the trick.
Yep Fall is the bestest, yes it is! Now if you will excuse me I need to put on my boots and scarf and get myself a pumpkin spice latte on my way to the supermarket to buy pumpkin and apples. It’s how I celebrate the first day of Fall.

Yes, fall is one of my favorite times of the year as well (although I could do without the snow!!). Fall is also a time for a Puerto Rican must!!! Pasteles and Guineitos en escabeche…YUMMY!!!!! I was searching for these receipes on your website but I couldn’t find them. My mom is usually the one that cooks them during this time of year but with her health I had to step in… Can you please post these receipes on your website…
