I probably should have done this post on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day but it was a busy week. Besides like any respectable Puerto Rican I just running fashionably late.
2010 was an eventful year at The Noshery….let’s recap.
Top Events of 2010
One of my best friends and Obed’s best friend, who met at our wedding got hitched! In 4 days they celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary and it all started when the walked down the aisle as groomsman and bridesmaid at our wedding. I beam with pride!

Our life was turned upside down by a mother and her puppies. The little buggers grew like weeds and had me running around like a nut after them for 2 months.
Impromptu trips because of crazy cheap airfare are the best. Obed and I took a quick little get away to see the sites of Denver. We also found the best hot dogs and most wonderful little place for crepes that we ate at almost everyday.
I got to attend my first event as a Foodbuzz foodie correspondent. Puerto Rico came to Tulsa and it was delicious! I got to eat all of my favorite foods from back home without having to get on a plane. I was a happy camper.
I decided to throw my hat into the ring and compete in Foodbuzz’s Project Food Blog. I didn’t win but I made it all the way to round 6 which I am pretty proud of. I also got to meet some other incredible food bloggers. I am hoping there will be a 2nd Project Food Blog so I can give it another go.
I got to participate in the experience of a life time with my husband and a great friend. I got to spend 8 hot sweaty hours attending the filming of Bobby Flay vs. The Pioneer Woman Thanksgiving Feast Throwdown. It was awesomeness!

I finished off the year with some dental work…good times.

Can’t wait to try all those recipes!!
I also had an experience with laughing gas at the dentist in 2010… was watching Mamma Mia with these cool glasses hooked up to an iPod my doctor had, and I kept scripting in my head what I was going to tell Meryl Streep when I met her after my wisdom teeth surgery… because I was convinced I was going to meet her right after. Good times!
Yummy everything!!! I want to try those cheescake bars!!
