For my birthday my husband got me the SWEETEST lens, with which I will be shooting all of my food with. 
The lens has a focal length of 17 – 55. This is my first wide angle capable lens. Wide angle lenses are great for landscape and if you ever need to get a shot of the whole room. Another fun thing you can do with them it pet photography because you get that effect of the big head little body. I got a kick out of photography the pups and distorting their heads, I think they look so cute! I took most if not all the pictures at a focal length of 17 and just got close to fill the frame. Aren’t they funny?

I miss Buster and Honey! I’d like to meet Jake..that might be a good enough reason to take a trip to Tulsa! =) Buster almost looks like a calm dog in these photos but then suddenly I have flashbacks to him body slamming me the morning of your wedding rehearsal because he thought I needed to be awake!
